Three-Day Metal 3D Prints
We spent over two years and $500,000 building out a custom metal 3D printing system that could meet our performance and volume requirements.
Based on Metal Injection Molding technology, we modify standard 17-4PH MIM feedstock, and print it directly in a style similar to FDM.
Once the parts are printed, they are debound in our debinding system, and finally sintered in a high-purity Hydrogen atmosphere for maximum strength. Our 17-4 PH Stainless Steel parts have identical strength to MIM 17-4 components.
